InnerFlow Works Special Projects
You make a difference by investing in my services or purchasing merchandise bearing the InnerFlow Works Brand Logo, both online and in-person, through various outlets. You become integral to a small, conscious team of volunteers impacting communities one project at a time.
A portion of your investment in my services goes towards supporting my organization's Pay-It-Forward model, whereby those who can afford to pay for my services in return directly contribute to transforming lives in diverse and meaningful ways while they embark on their healing and transformational journeys.
Each service or piece of merchandise you purchase from InnerFlow Works catalyzes positive change, empowering individuals and communities to heal and thrive, especially vulnerable children, who are currently our main focus group.
About Us
Our dedicated volunteers include me, Susan J. Nassuna, the founder of InnerFlow Works, and Scovia and Sam, the compassionate and enthusiastic founders of Scosam Adventure. Their African safari company, with heart and a vibrant vibe, is based in Fort Portal in the Southwest region of Uganda. An area filled with stunning national parks, including the majestic Mt Rwenzori, also known as the mountains of the moon.
The Rwenzori Mountains, Africa's Hidden treasure, stand as the continent's tallest mountain range, offering a one-of-a-kind adventure for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts. The region showcases a variety of landscapes, from equatorial rainforests to alpine moorlands, glaciers, and snow-capped peaks.
With its many endangered species and fascinating biodiversity, it is no surprise that the Rwenzori Mountains are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The three of us have created the InnerFlow Works Tribe, a community dedicated to supporting vulnerable children around Fort Portal, approximately 294 kilometers from Uganda's capital city, Kampala.
Our mission is to provide these children with education, healthcare, clothing, shoes, and study materials, including workbooks, refurbished laptops, and other necessary materials to enable them to reach their highest potential despite their desperate life circumstances and a safe environment.
Fort Portal is in Kasese district, which holds deep nostalgia for me.
Meeting Scovia and Sam feels like a profound spiritual homecoming. Although I’ve lived more than half of my life in Europe, I was born in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. When I was around six months old, my maternal grandmother, who raised me from birth, was transferred from Kampala to Kasese as the District's nursing officer.
Our home was a grand colonial-style house with a vast garden in Kilembe, a town nestled on the banks of the River Nyamwamba at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains. With the imposing mountain range always in view, this setting is where some of my earliest memories were formed.
My earliest memories are of the towering mountain range above us. Returning now to serve the communities in that district feels like a tribute to my late grandmother and the completion of my Hero's Journey.
Ways to Give
At InnerFlow Works Tribe, we believe every child deserves a bright future. That's why we are pooling our resources to do whatever it takes to ensure we can help reach and support as many children as possible.
But we can only do this important work with your support.
We need volunteers and donations to help us support vulnerable children without any hope of a quality future. They need to gain access to services such as healthy meals every day, an education, and inspiration to rewrite their life stories and go from absolute despair to hope.
We must fulfill our dreams of transforming communities by giving their young a chance for a brighter future. We must rewrite our collective narrative and acknowledge that support comes in many forms, not just financial donations.
Help us use your skills and talents to support as many young lives as we can by hosting fundraisers, which can be fun and highly effective.
For example, I have dedicated myself to donating a percentage of my income through my InnerFlow Services and merchandise to help fund the education of as many kids as possible. This support includes paying their school fees and ensuring they have all the educational materials needed to excel in their studies.
Think about donating your old laptops, clothing, shoes, and other articles that you no longer use but could help make someone else's life more bearable. Your non-monetary contributions are also valuable to us.
There are many ways to give, such as making a single financial donation to support our cause or ongoing monthly financial support, volunteering your skills and talents for a charity event, honoring someone special by helping to fund a library or classroom, even opting to pick one single child to support whose progress you can follow and keep in contact with.
If you feel called to join our small team and enhance its operation with your skills or talents, or if you want to take the plunge and help us through financial assistance, please fill in the form below. I’ll typically respond within one working day.
I look forward to hearing from you!
With love,
Susan J. Nassuna
